Bringing the Schibbolet Effect to life: designing a brand and website for leadership, art, and human responsibility.

I was commissioned to develop the branding and design a website for TED-speakerJulia Romanowska and her innovative research, The Schibbolet Effect. This groundbreaking study challenges traditional leadership models by immersing managers in artistic experiences that provoke reflection on life's most fundamental questions. Through this process, participants re-examine their perceptions of power and responsibility. Julia’s research culminated in her book, The Schibbolet Effect: Leadership, Art, and Human Responsibility, which I sought to represent through a compelling and thoughtful website.

Creating a vibrant visual identity by blending tradition and boldness.

In designing the visual identity for Julia Romanowska and The Schibbolet Effect, I aimed to reflect the research’s emotional depth and transformative impact. For typography, I blended elements of old-fashioned typefaces reminiscent of sheet music and theater programs with a clean, modern font to bridge tradition and innovation. The color scheme features bright purples and oranges, capturing Julia's vibrant personality and the bold, emotive nature of her work. These vivid tones are balanced with soft off-white hues, creating a harmonious design that evokes both warmth and professionalism.
